Slick title huh? So, I've always had thick shoulder length hair. After my first pregnancy in 2008 my hair changed immensely and I cut it to go natural. At that time the whole "natural hair thing" wasn't popular, and I was criticized more than I was complimented, so I broke down and permed my hair. Only thing is this time, my hair broke off really bad, no matter how much moisturizer I used, my hair would dry. It's really soft and I could barely hold a wrap without needing to add heat to my hair often. In 2013, I cut it off again, and have been fighting this battle ever since. I try to do twists or cute hairstyles, which suck because 1. I'm not hair savvy 2. My hair refuses to cooperate when I twist or pin up and 3. It stays dry no matter what. I found this site on someone's page on Instagram, so I'm praying to the hair Gods that something comes through for me. Oh and gray hairs! Lord the gray hairs are an absolute struggle! For the moment, I currently use Taliah Waajid products, they seem to be best for my hair as far as cleanliness, moisture and styling, when my hair does decide to not hate me.
